How to Install the Cradle strap.
The cradle strap is made up of two sections The shoulder pad is a broad 2 inch garment leather piece which is lined with soft suede. The cradle itself is made of strong 3/4" nylon webbing, attached to the shoulder pad with a quick release mechanism at both ends.

1. Remove the quick release from one end of the cradle webbing.
2. Thread the webbing through and under the j-bolt/hooks. Just pass them under the channel created by the j-bolts much as you would a belt through the belt loops of a pair of pants.
3. Re-install the quick release onto the webbing end you've just passed through the hooks.
4. Adjust the strap to the proper length by adjusting the webbing length at the quick release at both ends, until the banjo hangs comfortably with proper balance.
5. Your banjo is now ready to play!
