For 18 years, we have been a proud Calton Case dealer, and do believe the product to be an excellent case for the professional, travelling musician. For more than twenty years, these cases were manufactured in Calgary, Alberta, with owner Al Williams running the company. With his stewardship, Calton gained an unparalleled reputation in North America, as being the instrument case of choice for serious musicians.

In 2008, the company was sold to a new owner in Moncton, New Brunswick. Initially, we had good rapport, sold a significant number of cases, which were delivered on time, the general build time was reducing steadily, resulting in ever-shorter order lead-time and all looked good. Then in December of 2009 onward, we had an increasingly difficult relationship with the new Calton owner. (During this period, we were made aware of internet websites devoted to documenting dissatisfaction with the new Calton company service. Just Google "Calton problems" for an example.) Orders were delayed, then lost, then delayed even more.

The company refused to return our telephone calls, and emails were unanswered. Finally, on May 30th, we cancelled the orders which were still in the system and looked for a high quality replacement.
