HOMESPUNSteve Kaufman's popular " Parking Lot Picker's " lessons now include a series especially for mandolinists. Beginners to advanced players learn 20 favorite traditional tunes with his four-tiered teaching method. Beginners learn melody; intermediate players master licks and runs;experienced players learn advanced techniques. Steve finishes each tune with a final run-through, including endings.
Since the mandolin and violin are tuned alike, this series is also great for fiddlers who know the basics of bowing and other elementary skills.
Songs: Arkansas Traveller, Big Sandy River, Bill Cheatham, Billy in the Low Ground, Blackberry Blossom, Under the Double Eagle, Flop-Eared Mule, Fisher's Hornpipe, Forked Deer, Gold Rush, Old Joe Clark, Salt Creek, Soldier's Joy, St Anne's Reel, Nothin To It, Ragtime Annie, Red-Haired Boy, Sweet Georgia Brown, Turkey in the Straw, Whiskey Before Breakfast.
