The Songs and Fingerstyle Guitar Arrangements of Roy Book Binder
Taught By Roy Book Binder.
Level 3
Audio CD plus 63-page book

“Book’s Blues Book” and its accompanying CD represent a comprehensive cross section of the traditional and original blues that have been delighting Roy’s audiences and inspiring guitar players through the years. By working your way through the tablature, you’ll learn to play these great songs in note-for-note detail and pick up many inspiring blues licks and techniques along the way.

As Roy says about these songs: “They are the stories and memories of all my travels, the women and men who are a part of my life, the places that I have visited, the countless concerts, bar rooms and festival stages I have performed at, the lonesome train rides, plane flights and endless highway miles cruising in the bus‚ the good times and the bad times. Thankfully, my journey has been a great ride so far.”

The book features great lessons and an intro from Roy, note-for-note transcriptions with tab, and a CD of recorded examples to make learning easier.

Songs: "The Preacher Picked the Guitar," "It's Gonna Be Alright Someday," "St. Pete Blues," "She Did You a Favor," "I'm Going Home Someday," "Can't Do That No More," "New Age Woman Blues," "Cigarette Blues," "Anywhere You Go I Can Go There Too," "Baby It Must Be Love," "Rag Mama," "Travelin' Man," "Mississippi Blues," "'Lectric Chair Blues," "CC and O Blues," "Won't You Be Kind."
