Rob Wasserman is fast becoming one of the country's best-known
acoustic bassists. He first came into the public eye as a member of the David
Grisman Quartet, with whom he toured and recorded for several years. After deciding
to pursue his career in other directions, he recorded two ground-breaking albums, "Solo" (Rounder)
and "Duets" (MCA). He has toured and recorded with Lou Reed, performed
a series of duet concerts with Bob Weir and produced a video of his "Duet" album.
